Degree Requirements

Each student must take the following courses from Landmark Baptist College: Personal Evangelism, Baptist History, and Inspiration of Scripture. These must be completed before receiving a diploma, undergraduate degree, or graduate degree from Landmark Baptist College.

Associate Degree

An Associate degree requires the completion of 66 credit hours as approved by the College Administration.

Bachelor Degree

A Bachelor's degree requires the completion of 132 credit hours as described in the catalog and approved by the College Administration.

Graduate Degree Prerequisites

To enter the Pastoral Studies or Theology graduate programs, the student must have (or obtain) twenty-one (21) hours of undergraduate credits in Bible and/or Practical Theology.

To enter the Christian School Administration, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Bible College Administration, or Christian Education graduate programs, the student must have (or obtain) twelve (12) hours of undergraduate credits in Bible and nine (9) in Education.

Master Degree

A Master's degree requires 36 graduate-level credit hours above a Bachelor's Degree plus a thesis or 42 graduate-level credit hours without the thesis as approved by the College Administration. A Master's Thesis is a minimum of 50 typewritten, double spaced, 8 ½ by 11 pages. The topic of the thesis must be pre-approved by the College Administration.

Doctor Of Ministries Degree

The Doctor of Ministries degree requires the completion of 48 graduate-level credit hours beyond a Master's degree as approved by the College Administration.

Doctor Of Philosophy Or Doctor Of Education Degree

A Ph.D. or Ed.D. Degree requires 64 graduate-level credit hours beyond a Master's degree as approved by the College Administration plus a Doctoral Dissertation on a topic pre-approved by the College Administration. A limited number of Ph.D. applications will be accepted.
