Transfer Students:
Use the following checklist:
- Complete all the steps listed under FIRST-TIME STUDENTS.
- Request each institution of higher learning which you have attended to send a complete official transcript directly to the Admissions Office at Landmark Baptist College.
Special Admissions:
The mature student who cannot meet the above requirements, may be admitted on probationary status. Successful completion of the first year of college indicates the students' ability to benefit from the program and will result in his being removed from a probationary status.
Foreign Students:
Foreign or international students may apply for admission to Landmark Baptist College. Foreign students must comply with all regulations and requirements of the Department of Homeland Security, as well as Landmark Baptist College.
Foreign applicants will not be considered for admittance unless they are personally recommended by an American pastor or missionary they have known for at least one year, or they are recommended by someone who is personally known by our college or church administration, who they have known for at least one year. One of your reference forms must include this person's recommendation, or the application will not be processed. In addition to the above requirement, all foreign applicants must contact the college by phone, mail, or email prior to sending the application in order to be informed of admission procedures required for your own particular country.
To meet the new requirements of Homeland Security, foreign students wanting to study in the United States must demonstrate the ability to meet their financial responsibilities before they are issued an I-20, Certificate of Eligibility for Non-immigrant (F-1) Student Status. Therefore, foreign applicants accepted as students at Landmark Baptists College (LBC) must provide to LBC a cashiers check, or money order in the amount of the personal funds. They must also provide either a return ticket to their home country or sufficient funds to purchase a ticket to their home country.
